Since its inception, Nordic Edge has worked for innovation, societal and business transformation. Along with the rest of the world the organisation is facing its biggest change to date. The 6th edition of the leading Smart City event in the Nordics, is going digital in 2020.

This spring has seen an unprecedented situation. Society as we know it came to a halt. The daily lives of people around the world became unrecognisable. As did usually busy city streets, offices and businesses, while national and local authorities are struggling to handle challenges unforeseen mere months ago.

In this, the demand for innovation is insatiable and digitalisation has accelerated. It is a juncture in modern history to create long-term change. Developments highly relevant for societal change to be discussed at Nordic Edge Expo 2020.

An interactive, digital event

In light of the outbreak of Covid-19, Nordic Edge Expo has decided to go digital in 2020. Rather than a large gathering in Stavanger, keynote talks will be broadcast from stages across Europe and seamlessly be tailored to attendees through a designated platform which allows for interactive parallel sessions and networking.

Our mission to deliver the most valuable Smart City meeting place in the Nordics remains the same. Together with our many wonderful partners from the private sector, public sector, academia and start-up community we will work hard to deliver an insightful, thought-provoking event, as we have done every year since 2015.

We are currently working on amending the platform to meet our needs. We will update you on developments. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to Director of Nordic Edge Expo, Mona Vervik with any questions.

We look forward to welcoming our audience to Nordic Edge Expo Digital in 2020.

Updates about the event will be published on out webiste nordicedgeexpo.org and on social media: FacebookLinkedIn and Twitter
